All participants who book for an activity must provide emergency contact details, which are normally visible to the Activity owner and authorised committee members. However, the Bilby system automatically defaults for participants who are concerned about privacy by preventing Activity Owners/Leaders and other members from seeing their emergency contact details.
If you wish to participate on Club activities you will need to change your Bilby privacy settings to enable Activity Owners/Leaders to access your emergency contact details. The setting needs to be changed from ‘Visible to admin officers only’ to ‘Visible to any Activity Owner’. To update your settings visit Bilby privacy help instructions.
In an emergency, authorised Committee members can access the participant’s emergency contact details through Dashboard>Manage Users regardless of whether the member has restricted leaders’ access to the details.
