Did you know that emails can be a thing of the past using Bilby’s 1-tow-1 Notes, and Message Board?
Notes can be exchanged privately between a participant and the activity owner. On each occasion, a Bilby alert is sent to the recipient which indicates that there is a communication to be read.
Once a booking has been accepted (marked as Valid), the Message Board becomes available.
Every valid participant can make entries and see all entries. Tag the intended recipient with @username (or @everyone) to generate a Bilby alert. To do this, use the @ Mention link, or just enter @ in the notification entry area, and select the intended recipient(s). If you don’t use a tag, no Bilby alert will be sent. But your entry will still be visible to any valid participant who accesses the Message Board.
Activity owners – why not use the Message Board to communicate the logistics and any final arrangements for your trip? Instead of collecting participants’ email addresses, use the Message Board and tag @everyone. There’s unlimited space with 2,000 characters per message and an unlimited number of messages.
