The objects of the Canberra Bushwalking Club are to:

  • promote bushwalking and allied outdoor activities;
  • foster appreciation and conservation of the Australian countryside, bushlands, fauna and flora and to encourage field studies;
  • support the establishment and preservation of national parks and wilderness areas;
  • compile bushwalking information;
  • co-operate with organisations and persons having similar interests and objectives; and
  • assist members to develop skills in navigation and bushcraft.
