Take advantage of the excellent gear that the Club has available for hire before lashing out on your own equipment.

Prospective members are welcome to hire Club equipment. Hired equipment can only be used on Club activities.

A deposit of $20 is required. Part or all of this will be refunded, depending on whether the items are returned damaged, dirty or late.

You are responsible for collecting the equipment from the Equipment Officer’s home in Kambah. Remember to check you have ALL the bits when you collect the gear!

Surplus Club Equipment For Sale

Past members have generously donated gear to the club, usually with the hope that it will continue in good service.

Periodically we need to shed a surplus.

Items currently available are:

Large and small packs $20; day packs $5.00; 3-season sleeping bags $10; inner sheets $2.00; 2-man tents $20; stoves (Whisperlite)  $20; cooking gear, water bottles, containers and stuff bags; 1: 25 000 maps AGD 84, GDA 94; mats, lilos, boots, miscellaneous.

Looking to Sell or Buy Pre-loved Gear?

Rob is able to facilitate gear sales and purchases among Club members with a degree of security. If you’re interested just send him an email or telephone him with the following details:

Sales:  Date, name, phone number, item for sale, asking price

Purchases:  Date, name, phone number, item sought.

Rob would contact potential seller/purchaser(s), supplying the necessary details, after which the parties make their own arrangements.
