Summary

This walk is entirely in green corridors and features views across Canberra to the Brindabella Ranges. It starts with 10 to 15 minutes of uphill in a green corridor, followed by a gently undulating track and a descent at the end. The walking surface is about 1/3 concrete path and 2/3 dirt track. Not recommended for cyclists on road bikes.

Route

Start on the concrete path opposite 10 Brophy Street Fraser. The path heads east for 100 metres then turns south (uphill). Cross Moroney Street then continue uphill till you reach a small playground (the McGrath Place Playground). Continue south, circling the summit of Mt Rogers for 2.5 km until you return to the McGrath Place Playground. From here, retrace your steps down the concrete path to Brophy Street.
